Anunciantes y agencias de España vuelven a destacar en una nueva edición del certamen internacional, que tiene por objetivo reconocer el trabajo del colectivo independiente de la publicidad versus el de los grandes holdings. Las agencias Manifiesto, RK People, Rosebud y Kitchen destacan entre los ganadores españoles
El WINA Festival (www.winafestival.com) ha celebrado su cuarta edición, desvelando los trabajos y actores más destacados dentro del colectivo independiente de la publicidad mundial. En un año marcado por la pandemia de Covid-19, la paralización del negocio en medio planeta y una crisis económica sin precedentes, la organización del certamen ha decidido no cancelar el evento y seguir adelante, tomando medidas excepcionales. Por ese motivo el festival, que tiene por objetivo poner en valor la capacidad y el talento de los actores independientes que operan dentro del mundo del marketing y la publicidad (agencias in house de anunciantes, agencias indies, productoras, medios, consultoras, estudios de diseño, etc. no vinculados o participados por los grandes holdings de la industria) se ha celebrado en formato digital, con un evento retransmitido a través de sus perfiles sociales.
"Buscando demostrar que las industrias creativas independientes están vigentes y serán parte importante de la reactivación Post Covid19, WINA Festival decidió seguir adelante con la presente edición, celebrando la premiación 2020 a través de Youtube”, declara Mauricio Rodríguez, máximo responsable del certamen, que ha tenido que anular todos los actos y actividades que se celebran cada año en paralelo a los premios: seminarios y ponencias, feria comercial y otras iniciativas de networking, que se iban a celebrar en México. Para 2021, WINA retomará el formato presencial de conferencias y premiación en Dubai, (Emiratos Árabes Unidos), sede confirmada por la organización hace semanas.
No obstante este año ha contado con la participación de actores de 27 países diferentes: Portugal, México, Rusia, Colombia, India, Argentina, Estados Unidos, Suráfrica, Filipinas, Guatemala, Italia, Tailandia, Ecuador, Bulgaria, Brasil, Irán, Costa Rica, Bolivia, Alemania, Chile, Perú, España, Uruguay, Panamá, Irlanda, Slovenia y Nueva Zelanda.
Según han desvelado los organizadores, el festival ha tenido trabajo en short list de 141 agencias de los 5 continentes. El jurado de este año, integrado por más de 80 profesionales de diferentes mercados internacionales, ha otorgado 5 Grand Prix; 14 Oros, 33 Platas, 49 bronces y 28 menciones de honor. Próximamente publicaremos en nuestra web el palmarés completo.
Este año no habrá rankings, ni listados oficiales de clasificación, como parte de las medidas excepcionales que se han tomado. "Hemos decidido enviar un mensaje de unión global y no se hará el ranking general, ni menciones por país -detalla Rodríguez- entendiendo que muchas agencias no pudieron ser parte de la presente edición por fuerza mayor a raíz de la pandemia global del Covid19. Esperamos volver a los parámetros y condiciones habituales de la competición en 2021".
La publicidad indie española brilla de nuevo
Como en cada edición del certamen desde que se puso en marcha, España ha sido protagonista colocándose como potencia de referencia en cuanto a creatividad y publicidad indie, dados los resultados de los actores nacionales a pesar de que no se ha conseguido ningún gran premio.
En total se han traído para España 30 trofeos y reconocimientos, destacando el papel desempeñado por las agencias Manifiesto (2 oros y 2 platas), RK People y Rosebud. Otras agencias españolas con balance positivo han sido Kitchen, Espluga + Associates, CLV, Apple Tree, María Vinagre y La Machi.
